A vortex appears in the sky above an observatory in San Diego, and it spits out a bipedal dragon named Strafe among other creatures. So goes the event that kicks off When Worlds Collide. Started by Trauma Advocate on Friday, February 3, 2006, and finished on Thursday, January 18, 2007, this became the fifth RP to survive the transition from VGRP to RP Haven!

Krump

All right, When Worlds Collide was my first RP I participated in on RPhaven. I decided to play the role of one of the main villains, Krypton, instead of having a protagonist character. I really enjoyed the RP, and I think my favorite moment must have been the ending battle. I regret the fact that the amount of enthusiasm and participation I put into the RP as a whole might have been a little too much though. For my first RP, it really inspired me to join more, because it showed me how fun and entertaining participating in, and adding to a great story can be. I hope to be involved in more RP's in the future.

Krump was the second person to join the RP. He wrote 50.37% of the story, doing so in fifty-two posts.

Trauma Advocate

When Worlds Collide was a different kind of RP for me, one where there wouldn't be a lot of rules and people could be as creative as they wanted with characters. The concept of forcing multiple cultures upon each other fascinated me, and the results seemed pretty exciting.
The RP had a small turnout, but that didn't seem to be a problem. I was pleased to have Krump make his debut here, and he performed admirably on his first RP, making a very awesome villain throughout it. When Worlds Collide had some weird development in that way... all the protagonists seemed somewhat transparent. There was a ton of battling and not much time for character development, while all the villains had development out the wazoo. It made me sad... we had tons of good action scenes, but not much connection with the heroes.
As usual, the RP slowed tremendously near the end. I really have to thank the crew for sticking with me through the end despite the feeling of writer's block it invariably produced. I had intended for When Worlds Collide to just be a lot of fun for everyone, but I felt like Krump and I were the only ones having it. :(

Matthias     When Worlds Collide was never the biggest, nor the fastest moving of RPs, but it still proved to be successful, mainly through the efforts of Krump and Trauma, which I'm sure neither BFlash, Zun, or myself would contest.
The cast was proven to be quite solid, even Jim, whose creator Superlagg disappeared right at the start. Luckily, the RP was small enough so that we could basically incorporate him.
The strongest character, in my opinion, was not any of the heroes, nor any of the Trizindi. Neils Krypton proved to be the most fleshed-out character in a while, and one of the few villains I've truly despised at any point. This RP is worth the read just for him, in what is Krump's breakout performance in an RP.
I feel bad for Krump and Trauma though... I felt like they were doing all the work, and that I just kinda posted, far too sporadically as well.
Still, the story's compelling, the heroes are likeable, and Krypton is an amazing character. Congrats to all.

Zuntrios

As a whole, I really enjoyed it. There were some things I would have done different, but they turned out just fine due to the rest of the people in the RP. I do, however, wish that I could have contributed more to it than I did, because my abscences were a constant nuisance that eventually caused me to drop it entirely, but kudos to the people who stayed and turned the story into a great read.

Zuntrios was the fourth person to join When Worlds Collide. He wrote 3.54% of the story in fourteen posts.

Superlagg     Superlagg was unavailable for comment. He was the fifth person to join the role-play. He wrote 2.22% of the story, doing so in six posts.
